There has been a ton of talk lately about the new site for Chris Guillebeau’s latest launch, Adventure Capital. The site, beautifully and creatively designed by Tsilli Pines, features a single-page-style theme with sliding windows of content. The biggest question I get asked, however, is this:
Are there any inexpensive or non-coder ways to get a similar site?
Why yes, there is! The answer is with a responsive, one-page WordPress theme that uses functionality to create a similar sliding feel. I have complied several of them for you to see below.
And now, in no specific order…
Alliansy
Alliansy is a one-page responsive (mobile-friendly) design that features blocks of content on tiles that seems to fly off the screen. View the demo or get it at ThemeForest.

Proxy
Proxy is a one-page responsive design that features blocks of content that you can change to whatever color you like and a widgetized homepage to quickly configure types of content. I like the fonts on this theme as well, and I think it would also double as a nice sales page. View the demo or get it at ThemeForest.
